Hello everyone, and happy December! We have a few announcements regarding the Holidays and our Compost Collection Service.
1. Both Christmas and New Year’s Day are on a Saturday this year. In order to give our team time to enjoy and celebrate the holidays, we will be closing our office on Friday, December 24th and from December 29th through the 31st. All of our glass recyclers will still have their normal pickups, but we will not be collecting compost on the 24th and the 31st of December.
2. Instead, for compost customers only, we’ll pick up your Christmas tree at no extra charge during the month of January. Just put your tree out with your Friday compost bucket and we’ll haul it away to Garden City Compost.
3. Normal compost collection will resume on Friday, January 7th. Feel free to put out any extra organic waste on this day.
