Q. What are the holidays that will affect my pick-up?
A. The holidays that Recycling Works will be closed for during the 2020-2021 year are as follows:
New Year’s Day- Friday, January 1st, 2020
Memorial Day- Monday, May 31st, 2021
Independence Day- Friday, July 3rd, 2020
Thanksgiving Day- Thursday, November 26th, 2020 (office closed, driver will still be completing Thursday 4 route)
Christmas Day- Friday, December 25th, 2020
NOTE: The RW office may be closed for a certain number of days around the above holidays based on our drivers’ schedules. We will do our best to accommodate for missed holiday pick-ups. If you are a customer, please check your email for updates in advance.
Q. When is my pick-up day?

Compost is picked up EVERY Friday.
Q. What can/cannot go into my glass and compost bins?

Q. What time does my bin have to be outside on pick-up day?
A. Please make sure your glass and/or compost bins are outside by 9am on pick-up day. Our driver works a regular day starting at 9am, so please do not worry if you still see it full until mid/late-afternoon. We will get to it!
Q. How do I upgrade/downgrade my service?
A. For all service changes, call us at (406)215-4650 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. If you leave a voicemail with your request and name, we will respond either by phone or email to confirm the change.
Q. Can I put my service on pause if I leave for a few months in Summer/Winter?
A. Of course. Please let us know in advance by calling (406)215-4650 or emailing email@example.com. We ask that you let us know if you would like us to automatically restart the service on your planned arrival date or if you would prefer to call/email to restart.
Q. Can I pay online? How do I adjust my billing?
A. If you are signed up for quarterly invoicing, you will receive an emailed bill on the first of every 3 months (February, May, August, and November), which you can then pay online either with Credit Card, ACH, or by mailing in a check to “Recycling Works” at 202 Brooks St, Missoula, MT 59801.
If you are on the automatic payments, we are working to create a customer portal for updating credit card and payment information. , if you would like to make any changes or updates, please let us know by phone or email.
Q. Can I drop glass off if I miss my pick-up day?
A. Yes, if you are a current customer, we offer a drop-off location for you to use on a one-time basis. Please let us know by phone or email if you need to utilize these.
If you are NOT a Recycling Works customer, the best option is to attend one of our Quarterly Drop-off events. Please visit our “News & Updates” tab to learn more.
Q. Can I put out extra glass on my pick-up day?
A. On your first scheduled pick-up, please leave out the glass that you have been saving before signing up with us. This way, you can measure your monthly volume more accurately right away. If you have an event and collect more glass than usual, please let us know and we can accommodate.
Any glass left out by the bins without notice will result in an extra $.50/gal fee to your account.
Q. My bin is missing. How do I get a replacement?
A. Please call (406)215-4650 or email -firstname.lastname@example.org- to get put on the schedule for a bin replacement. The first bin replacement is free, but any subsequent replacements will result in the bucket fee charge of $9/$19 depending on your bin size.
If you live in a high foot-traffic area, we can work with you to make certain adjustments to avoid those pesky bin-thieves.
